Formally Mariano’s Fine Jewelry and Design, longtime employee Pepper Mottet was offered a opportunity to take ownership of the store allowing Karen Mariano to retire after 24 years in business with 19 of those years at this same location. Pepper took ownership of Mariano’s renaming it Mottet Fine Jewelry in January 2020 and is determined to provide the same level of service and traditions the Shelton area has come to expect.
Although interrupted by the State mandated non-essential business closure in response to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Mottet Fine Jewelry is hanging on and looking forward to a long future in Shelton.
